Summer : KL for 8 days

Posted by Aysha Razali at 9:05 PM

I was given the privilege by dad to spend a week of my summer holidays in KL on my own. The 8 days was a total freedom for me to roam around and meet up with old friends, anybody I like, to catch up where we left since last year(s) and to shop whatever stuff I need coz no one in my family has the stamina to shop like me, especially when it comes to stuffs that was never in their list, and never will be *sigh*

I utilized the whole 8 days doing these 8 things:

1. visited Umi Dah & Baba (these are my 2nd set of parents :D) in Salak Tinggi & went fast-breaking together with the whole family at PICC Putrajaya - It was the bomb, mayte!

2. went to Ralph Lauren OU with lifetime BFF Arif, he splurged but I came back empty hand *bravo, pat on my back*

3. manage to survey my summer-holiday-gift from dad with Kent at Digital Mall & finally got one after being soooo indecisive

This is my new baby :D

4. crashed Tiq's studio apartment

The view from her studio, how convenient, just 10mins away from the curve, IKEA

5. hooked up with Somie sistah, manage to get her to pick us up after work & "shop" at TTDI's bazar ramadhan. We even made her guilty until she decided to put a night at Tiq's as well even though she actually has to work on the next day - WHICH WAS SUNDAY!!- so she drove back to Shah Alam at 11pm just to take her pj's and work attire for tomorrow. We killed the bird with two stones by paying baby Iman Madihah a visit too, she's so adorable!

The fast-breaking for 3 moiler people

The latest addition to Ir. Abd Ghani's big family

6. Had tutti frutti for the 1st time in my life (yes, I'm so outdated, I know, please do understand the excitement, hence I'm blogging about it!).

Not bad for a first timer, huh?

7. visited Pn. Huda at her new crib, read: taking full advantage when her husband went outstation

A proud madam who's expecting..glad for her!

8. met up with a long-term virtual friend - Rif, finally for the first time!

She's more gorgeous in person, and our 1st meet-up was as if we were friends since the days pictures are still black & white

Glad I utilized the whole trip with everything that was worth doing, I of course wished for more time to shop, more people to meet, more places to go, but as for now, that's how far things can be for me, I can't wait to really be back for good next summer!
