We, the Gurlz kinda have a new resolution for this final year, which I think sounds pretty much familiar to everyone - JUST DO IT! (Thank you Nike. Co for being such a brilliant). Anyway, our Just Do It are for the things that we know/ we think we might not have any chance to do it together except for now, so as long as it doesn't clashes with any religion, not against the law or beyond boundaries & limits, this motto applies.
So, guess what was our 1st Just Do It activity?
Anyone?
Bungee Jumping? No.
Try to be on TV? No.
Get a new boyfie? Hell NO!
All ready and set to go
We went to McD's in P-Y-J-A-M-A-S. (Read : Russians are very particular about how you dress, it is like their rule No.1 - must be presentable at most times, which is like all the time)
Tell you what, once I went to class without makeup on, except for sheer compact powder. Then I was appointed to clerk a patient (which happened to be a 70 year old lady). Ok, so I went. Later at the end of our session she asked me " Why didn't you put any make up on? On your eyes...your lips. You're a nice young lady, you should take care of yourself, and be presentable, you know? Or else, what's the point you came to class with an iron crisped lab coat?"
(Trust me, it happened to me like this not just once, MANY times!!)
Can you believe that?? Wearing a "berkedut seribu" labcoat is better than not wearing any makeup on your face??? No, she wasn't cracking a joke. Here, not presentable = not hygienic. So that is why, going to McD's in PJ's IS A BIG DEAL.....and takes a lot of courage too!
but having your partner in crime make things a lot enjoyable!
Seriously, this is a JUST DO IT attempt. With selipar Jepun sumore. Don play-play.
For that 90minutes, I knew exactly how it felt to be Posh Beckham, let it be for opposite reasons, who cares anyway?? The feeling was the SAME :-) Just this time I didnt get any babushkas (Russian = grandma) asking me "Why not wearing any make-up?" "What were you thinking before stepping out from the house, wearing jammies to Mcd's?" "Why like this one?" "Why like that one" "Why? Why? Why?".
It was just...
Us gurlz, having fun talking about everything under the sun
It was shy 12am when we left McD's, we even had to ask the manager to open the door and let us out. Well, even if we were locked in, it won't be a problem, we're already in PJ's, right?
